How to Install Hot Player on an Amazon Fire Stick

To install Hot Player on an Amazon Fire Stick, you must download and install the Hot Player APK using the Downloader application. When connecting your IPTV service, select Xtream Codes.

You will need the following information from your IPTV provider:

  • Server address or portal URL
  • Username
  • Password

Note: Hot Player is only a media player. It does not include television channels, movies, series, or an IPTV subscription. You need active playlist credentials from a legitimate IPTV provider, such as IPTVV.

Step 1: Install Downloader

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, select Find.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Search for Downloader.
  4. Select the orange Downloader by AFTVnews application.
  5. Choose Download or Get.
  6. Wait for Downloader to finish installing.

Step 2: Enable APK Installation

Go to:

  • Settings → My Fire TV → About
  • Highlight the name of your Fire TV device.
  • Press the centre/select button on your Fire TV remote seven times.
  • A message should appear confirming that Developer Options have been enabled.

Return to:

  • Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps
  • Select Downloader.
  • Turn permission On for Downloader.

Step 3: Search for and Download the Hot Player APK

  1. Open the Downloader application.
  2. Select the search or website-address field and type: Hot Player APK.
  3. Select Go or Search.
  4. From the search results, open the APKPure page for Hot Player.
  5. Confirm the application name is Hot Player and select Download APK.
  6. Download the standard APK file (avoid XAPK, APKS, or ads).
  7. Wait for the download to finish, then select Install on the Fire Stick installation screen.
  8. Once complete, select Done.
  9. Return to Downloader and Delete the APK file to save storage space. Select Delete again to confirm.

Step 4: Open Hot Player

  1. Return to the Fire TV home screen.
  2. Open Your Apps & Channels.
  3. Find and open Hot Player.
  4. Hot Player should display a QR code and device information on the screen.

Step 5: Add Your IPTV Credentials

  1. Scan the QR code displayed inside Hot Player using your phone.
  2. The Hot Player playlist-management page should open.
  3. Select Xtream Codes or Xtream Codes Server.
  4. Enter the credentials supplied by IPTVV:
    • Playlist Name: IPTVV
    • Server Address: Provided by IPTVV
    • Username: Provided by IPTVV
    • Password: Provided by IPTVV
  5. Check that the server address, username, and password are entered correctly.
  6. Select Save, Add Playlist, or Upload.

Step 6: Refresh Hot Player

  1. Return to Hot Player on your Fire Stick.
  2. Select Refresh or Reload.
  3. If the playlist does not appear immediately, completely close and reopen the application.
  4. Allow a few moments for the channels, movies, series, and program guide to load.

Your Hot Player installation and IPTV setup are now complete.

General FireStick Setup

Plug the FireStick into an available HDMI port on your television. Connect the USB cable to the FireStick and the other end to the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet for the best performance. Insert the included AAA batteries into the Alexa Voice Remote, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network and sign in to your Amazon account.
