Before following the IPTV Setup Guide

Understand the account and player application.

Your IPTVV.com subscription and the player application installed on your device are two separate products.

Installed on your device

Third-party IPTV player

A player is the application used to enter your credentials, display the menus and navigate available live or on-demand categories.

  • Downloaded through an app store or publisher
  • May use a different interface from other players
  • May charge its own activation or lifetime fee
  • Player fees are not IPTVV.com subscription fees
IPTV login information

Prepare these details before starting the IPTV Setup Guide.

Copy each item carefully. Extra spaces, missing characters or incorrect capitalization can prevent the player from connecting.

NAME

Profile name

Create a recognizable name such as “IPTVV.com” or “Living Room.” This field usually does not affect the connection.

URL

Server address

Enter the complete server or portal address exactly as supplied, including the beginning of the address.

USER

Username

Copy the account username without adding spaces before or after the characters.

PASS

Password

Enter the account password exactly as provided. Passwords may be case-sensitive.

Choose an IPTV Setup Guide

Select the device you want to configure.

3

Install and open the player

Select Install, wait for the application to finish, then choose Open from the app page or Android TV home screen.

4

Select Xtream Codes or API login

Choose the option requesting a profile name, server address, username and password rather than uploading a local file.

5

Add a profile name, then copy the server address, username and password exactly as supplied.

6

Allow the account to load

The first connection may take longer while the player loads available categories and guide information.

7

Use the directional pad to move between Live TV, movies, series, favourites and settings. The Back button normally returns to the previous menu.

Android TV troubleshooting: Confirm the player is updated, restart the device, clear the player cache, recheck every credential and test an Ethernet connection when Wi-Fi is unstable.

Fire TV IPTV Setup Guide

Install Downloader, allow installation for that application, obtain a compatible player and enter your Xtream Codes details.

Search the Amazon Appstore first. When the preferred compatible player is unavailable there, the Downloader method can be used to install an application package from the player publisher.

1

Install Downloader

From the Fire TV home screen, select Find or Search, enter “Downloader,” select the application and install it from the Amazon Appstore when available.

Open My Fire TV settings

Navigate to Settings, then My Fire TV or Device. Open Developer Options when it is already visible.

Reveal Developer Options when hidden

Open About, highlight the Fire TV device name and press the centre Select button repeatedly until the developer-status message appears. Return to My Fire TV.

4

Allow Downloader to install an app

Open Developer Options, select Install Unknown Apps or Apps from Unknown Sources and enable permission for Downloader only.

5

Find the compatible player package

Open Downloader and use its search or browser feature to locate the IPTV player package from the application publisher or another source you trust. Avoid unverified mirrors.

6

Select Download, approve the installation prompt, choose Install and then open the player from Your Apps and Channels.

7

Enter Xtream Codes credentials

Select the Xtream Codes login option and enter your profile name, server URL, username and password exactly as supplied.

8

Restore the installation permission

After the player is installed, return to Install Unknown Apps and turn Downloader permission off unless you need it again.

Fire TV troubleshooting: Check for Fire TV software updates, restart the device, force-stop and reopen the player, clear its cache and confirm the device has enough free storage.

LG webOS television

Press Home, open Apps or the LG Content Store, use Search and install a compatible player when it appears for the TV model and country setting.

Other Smart TV systems

Check the TV brand, model and operating system before choosing an application.

2

Use an external device when needed

When no suitable player appears in the television’s app store, connect a compatible Fire TV, Android TV or other supported streaming device by HDMI.

Smart TV troubleshooting: Confirm that the TV country setting is correct, update the television software, reinstall the player when possible and use a supported external device when the built-in platform is too old or lacks a compatible application.

5

Add your IPTVV.com account

Open the player, select Xtream Codes, create a profile and enter the server address, username and password.

6

Test the connection

Allow the account to load, open a category and confirm that the computer maintains a stable internet connection.

Restart the computer and router, test Ethernet, temporarily close conflicting network software and confirm the player is permitted by the firewall.

Windows and Mac troubleshooting: Update the player, confirm the correct operating-system version, verify firewall access, close VPN or proxy software temporarily for testing and run the operating system’s network diagnostic tools.
IPTV Setup Guide troubleshooting

Fix common login, loading and connection problems.

Begin with the simplest checks before reinstalling the player or changing advanced device settings.

Invalid username or password

Re-enter both fields manually, remove spaces, confirm capitalization and make sure characters such as zero and the letter O were not confused.

Server address error

Copy the full address exactly as provided. Do not omit the beginning of the address, change punctuation or add an unnecessary slash.

Account will not load

Restart the player and device, test another internet-based app, switch between Wi-Fi and Ethernet and confirm the subscription remains active.

Connection limit message

Close the player on other devices. Every screen used simultaneously requires its own active connection under the selected plan.

Player closes or freezes

Update the application, clear its cache, restart the device, free storage space and reinstall the player when necessary.

App not found in the store

App availability can depend on the device model, operating system and country. Use another compatible player or a supported external streaming device.

Guide information is missing

Refresh the account or guide inside the player, check its time zone and allow additional time for available guide data to load.

Wi-Fi is inconsistent

Move the device closer to the router, restart the network, use a less congested Wi-Fi band or connect by Ethernet when supported.

What information do I need to complete the IPTV Setup Guide?

You normally need a compatible player, a profile name, the server address, username and password supplied with your IPTVV.com account.

Is the IPTV player included with my subscription?

The account credentials come from IPTVV.com. The player is a separate third-party application installed on your device and may have its own activation or lifetime-access fee.

What is Xtream Codes?

Xtream Codes is the login option used by many compatible players to accept a server address, username and password. The wording may also appear as API Login or Xtream API.

Can I use the same credentials in different players?

The same account details can generally be entered into another compatible player, but the number of devices used at the same time must remain within the active connection limit.

Check capitalization, remove extra spaces, confirm the server address and ensure the subscription remains active. Contact IPTVV.com when the original credentials need to be checked.

What should I do when a player is unavailable on my Smart TV?
